The Youth Choir is a vibrant, talented and wonderfully unique group of young people from 6th class to 6th year. Capped at just 30 members, the choir offers a supportive space where young singers can develop their voices, build confidence and discover their own musical style.

Meeting every week, the group works on three-part harmony, vocal health, blend and performance skills, but they’re much more than a choir. Members have a real voice in what they create, from choosing repertoire to writing their own songs and choreographing performances. Together, they have built a welcoming space filled with friendship, laughter, creativity and plenty of joy.

Over the past two years, the Youth Choir has released a music video, travelled for a weekend at IIMS, raised money for charity and performed their own headline concerts, including a sold-out end-of-year show. One of their proudest achievements came last year when they travelled to the Youngbohemia Prague festival and were awarded Silver.

With so much already accomplished, we can’t wait to see what this brilliant group creates next. And, as always, the young people themselves will be at the heart of it, with their ideas, musical tastes and voices heard every step of the way.
