DESCRIPTION:Inspired by my work with the Naked Voice\, the College of Sound Healing training and other healing modalities\, this course explores the potential of sound and song to help us within our lives. It is open to everyone regardless of experience of healing\, meditation or singing.\n\nSINGING AS MEDITATION\nThroughout the course\, we will look at different vocal practices and chants from around the world that help us to quieten the mind\, and deepen into connection with ourselves. Chanting helps us to shift into silence and peace in a beautiful and accessible way.\n\nMANTRA AND CONTEMPLATIVE MOVEMENT\nUsing the contemplative movements of Shintaido\, we will explore different mantras and their corresponding movements to deepen our experience of the sound and the silence.\n\nIMPROVISATION AND EXPLORATION OF OUR VOICES\nWe will have fun exploring different ways to access our own innate voices\, singing freely and improvising within a group setting and individually\, in a safe and non-judgemental way.\n\nINTRODUCTION TO THE CHAKRA SYSTEM THROUGH SOUND\nLearn how to use sound to strengthen your chakra system through sacred mantra\, and explore the different chakras and the energies that they contain\, through the musical scale and movement.\n\nWhether you are completely new to the world of sound or meditation\, or are a seasoned practitioner\, this course has something to offer everyone.\n\nPlaces are limited\, so advance booking is essential - you can contact Claire by email at speakupsingout@yahoo.com or by phone on 0861923381\n\nThe course costs €100 / €85 concession.
